as V.P. & Director of Client Services
Will build and develop client services team and consumer brand growth<
CHICAGO (April 26, 2006) - Wheatley & Timmons, Inc. announced today that Alyssa R. Burns has joined the agency as Vice President and Director of Client Services. Burns will help manage and build the agency's client services staff, as well as spearhead strategic planning on existing client brands and orchestrate the development of new business.
Alyssa's arrival is a strong signal that we are making further investments in our core positioning and heritage as an agency focused entirely on consumer brand building, said Robert Wheatley, chief executive officer of Wheatley & Timmons. Her experience is an ideal match with our strengths and capabilities in that area.
Burns comes to Wheatley & Timmons from Kraft Foods, Inc., where she served as a senior manager of communications. In addition to providing strategic counsel to senior management on communications issues, her role involved work with varying brand teams to build awareness through product and brand-specific PR campaigns for a wide range of businesses including
Kraft Singles,
Kraft Macaroni & Cheese and Miracle Whip.
As the principal management figure for client services, Burns will work to expand the Wheatley & Timmons client services team to world-class status. I hope to develop my skills while acknowledging a pathway that is fulfilling over time based on my passion, interest and capabilities, while cultivating a top-notch client services staff, said Burns.
Earlier in her career, Burns was an account supervisor on the Kraft Foods account at Edelman Worldwide.
